hello, mr squirrel, thanks for staying still enough for a picture

my puppy, always pulling at the end of his leash, so excited to explore

I wonder if the landscapers really meant to plant a couple tomato plants in this flower bed, I will be keeping an eye out for the tomatoes.

Thanks for coming along with me on my walk today, we’ll do it again another time…

5 minute friday ~ delight

On Fridays around these parts we stop, drop, and write.
For fun, for love of the sound of words, for play, for delight,
For joy and celebration at the art of communication.
For only five short, bold, beautiful minutes. Unscripted and unedited.
We just write without worrying if it’s just right or not.

Today’s word ~ DELIGHT

start:

I have a puppy, his name is Buddy. And he is very much, my puppy.

He get’s very anxious if I am out of his sight, and does NOT like to be left alone.

But I have a friend, Liz – who I jokingly call his girlfriend.

If he even just hears her voice, he whines and cries to go see her.

Buddy gets so excited when he sees her, he almost can’t control himself.

He jumps, and wiggles, his tail wags his whole body. He is just delighted to see her.
