Around here we write for five minutes flat on Fridays.
We finger paint with words. We try to remember what it was like to just write without worrying if it’s just right or not.
Where your words are welcome, just as they are!
Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking
Today’s word ~ BRAVE
He lived his whole life not allowing a missing eye to hinder him or stop him from doing what he wanted to do.
She wanted just one more baby even though she had miscarried many.
She dealt with being in the Army and away from family and home as she battled cancer.
He battled and forsook an addiction that had held him for years.
She turned 99 this last year and still smiles and laughs and sings “His Eye is on the Sparrow and I Know He Watches Me”.
They lived with a debilitating disease for over 10 years, they are still together and she is doing much better now.
She said “that’s enough” and moved out.
He wanted to start his own business, she said ok.
He knew he had Alzheimer’s and knew what it would do to him and his wife.
She knew he had Alzheimer’s and determined to love him to the end.
She said, I’ve got this machine, how can I use it to make money, and began to hand out fliers.
He ~ She ~ They all are BRAVE!!
